WHERE DO I SHOP FOR FABRIC? That is one of the most common questions we are asked. Wilhites, an Oconee County, South Carolina institution for decades, is no longer in business, and fewer options are available. However, many of our clients have found great fabrics at chain stores like Hobby Lobby (Seneca, Anderson, Easley) and Joann's (Anderson, Greenville). (Always ascertain whether your selection is for upholstery use; drapery and apparel fabrics are not acceptable.) The gorgeous sunroom pictured with this post displays some cushions we did in September 2018 for realtor Bob and JoAnn Hill (Bob Hill Realty), and those beautiful fabrics came from the retail chain Joann's. Customers willing to travel a bit further might wish to check out Carolina Fabrics and Mansure & Co. in Greenville, Larry & Sons in Easley and All About Fabrics in Williamston. Our customers with primary residences or connections in Atlanta might like to visit Forsyth Fabrics. And, lastly, we have a limited number of high quality commercial grade fabric samples for home or office from which to choose, and the occasional remnant might be to your liking. Online buying is more popular than ever, but beware if you don't understand repeats on patterns or have questions about the legitimacy of your source. As always, we are available to answer questions and offer insights, whether you purchase our fabrics or those of another retailer. All the best with your shopping.
